Lead oxide is one of the major components in our batteries, it is prepared carefully by the high-performance ball mill manufactured
by Sanhuan company, which is a well-known battery equipment manufacturer in the world, our heavy-duty automatic mill iscontrolled
by a micro-computer to guarantee precision and consistency.
Parameters and collected data involved in the grinding process are set and recorded, respectively, to enable quality tracking. According
to our QC reports, the oxide powder produced shows excellent homogeneity in terms of the oxidation level and the particle size,
in addition, the unique technology of ultra-fine processing facilitates our batteries to perform especially well for high-rate discharge.
Different batteries need different lead-based alloy grids. To make the lead-based alloy grids which are critical parts in the batteries,
we are employing twenty-six sets of advance gravity casting machines from Jiangling.
To ensure the grids produced are qualified to be further processed, they will be examined by our QC personnel by means of the grid dimension , the thickness, the weight and the visual inspection.
The positive and negatives paste compounds are prepared by four independent automatic mixing machines. there is a unique feature
of the positive paste mixer: two kneading rollers were built in the mixer, the paste is kneaded while being mixed.
The mixing process is precisely controlled by a micro-computer and the mixing temperature is monitored and controlled by a
sophisticated temperature-regulated system.
For the pasting process, it is performed by four sets of pasting machines: two machines are responsible for making positive paste;
and the other two, the negative paste.
All positive and negative uncured plates are examined in terms of the plate’s thickness, the density and the moisture level.
Curing is the process by which strength and adhesion of paste to grid is established prior to formation and is retained by the material
after formation. Since the curing process is time-consuming and we have to maintain a high production rate, twenty sets of high capacity
fully automatic curing chambers are employed. The relative humidity and the temperature are accurately controlled; the raw plates
are deliberately arranged to actualize the optimal air circulation.
The purpose in curing is to produce an effective crystal structure that confers adequate strength to the material, whilst preserving a
highly developed surface area presented to the electrolyte, to retain the material sufficiently intact to satisfy the life and performance
requirements dictated by the market.
Compared with the jar formation, the tank formation permits plate verification to be done before the battery assembly, tacking into
account that the tank formation delivers quality plates in consistent manner, we decided to use the tank formation to produce our
plates.
The electrolyte tanks play an important role in the formation process. Our electrolyte tanks are equipped with a well regulated
cooling/heat system, so the formation temperature is controlled effectively and the target/ratio is achieved. Note that this process is
closely monitored as it greatly affects the battery capacity and the battery life.
